Today is Communion Sunday, in our church and many others.
In the communion anthem "One Bread, One Body", we have been made one because we
have all been saved by Jesus Christ who died for us.
I especially want to thank Floy for providing the
slides, and Mary Dell Green for recording the melody.
Paul Simon originally wrote "Bridge Over Troubled Water" with only 2 verses, and he asked Art Garfunkel to sing it as a solo, because "we" are not "bridges"; "I" am a bridge. I have added some photos that might seem to fit better with "Bookends", but they seem appropriate for people our age. I hope you hear this abridged song (PTP) as encouragement for you to be a bridge for someone else.
